About Lucy Huber

Registered Nutritional Therapist

I graduated from the College of Naturopathic Medicine in London, after a hugely rewarding 3 years of very intense study! The College of Naturopathic Medicine is one of the UK's largest, most highly-respected and well-known natural-medicine training providers.

This challenging and enjoyable Course encouraged me to recognise my dreams of finally turning my enthusiasm for nutrition into a reality where I can use it to help people.

A combination of my passion for healthy food and my keen interest in natural ways to enhance vitality forms the basis of what I offer my Clients.

In Nutritional Therapy, we evaluate individual needs and then use the extensive evidence base for nutritional science to develop a personalised, safe and effective nutrition and lifestyle programme.

Sometimes it is very difficult when you are not feeling well to know where to start. This is where I can help – often it begins with small changes which can already make a big difference and encourage you to continue on your journey towards wellness....

Having struggled myself with various health issues in the past and feeling as if I was getting nowhere with conventional medicine, I know that it is sometimes daunting to know where to turn.  Seeing a Nutritional Therapist threw me the lifeline I needed to make the necessary changes which made a huge difference to my health and wellbeing.

My Background

With a background in the Healthcare sector working with older people and Carers, I have always had an interest in  the health issues and concerns which can affect people, and supporting them to make positive changes in their lives.

Losing my father to cancer when I was 19 was a difficult and challenging time, but I began to wonder if more could have been done through diet and alternative remedies. I became interested in natural ways of strengthening the body through lifestyle changes and nutrition.

I read as many books as I could find, and collected lots of articles on natural health and healing. I began to understand that the human body can be empowered to heal itself given the right ‘fuel’ and nurturing.

If we treat it with love and respect, it will reward us with energy and vitality.

A Positive Difference

I know from my own experience that it can sometimes be an uphill struggle and a challenge to implement any changes to diet and lifestyle, especially when you may not be feeling well or have no energy.

Any change, however small, can make a positive difference to health and this can motivate you to persevere. This is the first small step which can start you along the path to optimum health and vitality....and beyond.....
